Post-Production Planning: Editing Session 5 (Chorus after Location 2)

In this editing session I worked on the chorus after my second location.

I started off with the beginning part of the chorus where there is a drum beat and edited in clips in time with each beat. I created a montage effect of them walking in time with the drum beats.

Then I edited clips for the main lines of the chorus which is the 'I miss you' lines. All of my choruses in my music video are consistent in the fact that they all follow a similar play-reverse-play structure.

After editing in the beginning of the chorus and the main lines of the chorus I added in all the clips in between, which include clips from the High Street and St.Aldates to create a summary of their day.

Then I concluded the scene with a clip of them looking at a phone where the camera pans left and into a wall.

I realised at the end of the clip that Jay looks at the camera so I split the clip and sped up the end so it is less noticeable.

I then added a dip to black at the end of the clip so it looks like the clip ends in darkness. I did this so I could conclude the clip and add a transition when it came to editing in the last location.
