For my music video I am only hoping to have one type of non-diegetic sound which is the music for the music video. This will be 'Good Grief' by Bastille. Of course to avoid Copyright I needed to gain permission from the artist's to use their music.
To do this I went on the Band's website to find a method of contacting them.

I attempted to contact the band through the email on the website and waited a week and did not get a response. I concluded it would be too time consuming to get a confirmation from the band so I decided to continue and use the song anyway however I will keep in mind any legal issues and will make sure that the music video does not replicate the original in any way.
