So when I film my music video, there will be a few things I will need:

A camera

Hopefully I will be using my own camera which is the Canon EOS 500D but I may decide to rent the Canon EOS 1100D depending on the camera quality. (I will do more research into this later.) I am deciding to use a Canon DSLR camera as my experience as a Media and Photography student, I prefer Canon cameras and find them easier to use yet give good quality images/videos.

A Handheld Camcorder

I need a handheld camcorder for the handheld shots as I want a variation in the quality of camera work. I am looking for a camcorder that doesn't capture the best video quality. This is the one available to me however I am still looking into the two camera qualities and will make a final decision later on. I will enquire to different people about whether they have one that I can borrow.

A Tripod

I will be using my own tripod which is the Hama Tripod Star61 for stability. I may not end up using this as much as I plan to do a lot of handheld shots but it will be useful for the steady shots I do. I like this tripod as it is light and easy to carry around yet it gives good stability when filming.

SD Card 

I will use an 8 GB memory card as I want to make sure I have enough memory for the recording I will do.

Camera Battery/Extra Batteries

I will make sure I take a fully charged battery or even spare batteries for both cameras making sure I can film as long as I need.
