Pre-Production Planning: Consent For Locations

Streets of Oxford

In order to get consent to film in the streets of Oxford, I would need consent from Oxfordshire County Council. I emailed one of the representatives called Steve to ask if this was possible (see below)

I received a reply from the council and I was told it is possible and I would need to fill out a few bits of paperwork such as a filming application and a detailed risk assessment sheet

I filled these out (below) and sent it to them alongside a copy of my Sixth-Form's Public Liability Insurance.

I also contacted my Sixth-Form's Finance Officer who sent him an email with our Public Liability.

So I now had permission to film in my three locations in Oxford which was the High Street, St.Aldates and The Covered Market.
