Post-Production: Music Video Title
08:43
Although the original music video didn't contain titles, I decided to add a title as I wanted to fill in a time gap and introduce the music video. I also wanted to link my ancillaries with my music video more so I integrated a similar colour scheme.
I began by making the title on Photoshop because I wanted to create a type writer effect so I needed to create multiple images to join together.
I created 10 images each introducing a new letter of the title. I stuck with a mustard and white colour scheme as I wanted to relate my product to my ancillaries and emphasise my genre of Indie more.
I then opened up iMovie and imported each picture in order. I did so in iMovie rather than Premiere Pro as I found iMovie easier to work with for a simple design. I ordered each image in the order it appears on the screen and shortened the length so that it totaled to no more than 3 seconds which is the amount of time I needed to fill. It didn't matter if the images moved in composition slightly as it added to the genre representation.
I then exported this as a whole clip to use it in Premiere Pro.
Here is the finalised title.
